the fractals seem to almost take the shape of a human, the dark circle at the bottom appears as a shoulder then farther up kinda seems like a head shape, i am not sure if this is intentional or i might be seeing dogs in clouds, either way very thought provoking. i feel these pieces have meaning, i would love to hear your explanation or is it for us to figure out?

Do you use the golden ratio as a reference, or does the golden ratio use you as a reference? ;)

Your art continues to fascinate me, it does. I'm not sure what it is, but there's something about yours style that speaks to me.

I really like this one.

Are you using traditional oils or the new water soluble ones? I was wondering because I would think oils on bristol vellum would be a problem because the oil would penetrate the paper and make it soft and unworkable for pencils.

Good question. Traditional oils, mostly the expensive but very potent Old Holland. After using pencils, pastels, and ink I seal everything with a Golden acrylic medium (either satin, or a gloss/matte medium mix). Oils from there on out!
